Mr. Smits goes to Washington
Jimmy Smits will host annual 4th of July festivities in Washington, D.C. this year. The event, which takes place on the West Lawn of the Capitol Building, will feature performances by Barry Manilow, the National Symphony Orchestra, Aretha Franklin, Natasha Bedingfield and the cast of "Jersey Boys." If you are in the DC area, check it out in person. Not in DC? The event is generally broadcast on network television - check your local listings.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar interview equals more praise for Dennis Franz
Check out this recent interview with Mark-Paul about his series Raising The Bar. As he has in the past, Gosselaar heaps more praise on Dennis Franz. I wish Mark-Paul could bring Dennis out of his semi-retirement and have him do a guest spot of Raising The Bar. I'm sure Bochco would be on board for it! Come on Dennis....we miss ya!

Charlotte comes out to support the Humane Society
Charlotte Ross joined other supporters of the Humane Society US at a recent casino evening in the Hollywood Hills. The event was held at a private residence and Charlotte attended with her friend, chef Elizabeth Tenhauten. The two are seen here with Humane Society Hollywood office Director Beverly Kaskey, comedian Hal Sparks and Susie Feldman of The Two Coreys. Proceeds of the event will fund the organizations Anti-Dog Fighting programs.
