This is a behind the scenes video filmed during the photo shoot for Charlotte's I'd Rather Bare My Buns than Wear Fur campaign for PETA. The video is about 22 minutes long and it takes a few minutes to get to the Charlotte portion but it's worth it - watch it for no other reason than to meet the bunny from the photo shoot and hear his story. ABC has a cast photo circulating of the pilot's cast and IT DOESN'T INCLUDE CHARLOTTE. I've exchanged phone calls, emails and TXT MSGS with contacts and all were under the impression that Charlotte had signed on for the role of Claire Shoop on the ABC pilot headlined by Alicia Silverstone. Nobody I spoke with was even aware of the addition of actress Hedy Burress to the cast of Pink Collar or any pilot or series - most weren't familiar with her name....That's Burress to the right of Silverstone in the photo.....the Silverstone who is a PETA-friend of Charlotte's. WHAT GIVES HERE??

Anyone with any information on what happened please post a comment. You can post anonymously if need be....just post some info! So many Charlotte fans were so looking forward to her being in the cast of a pilot that looks like it has a better than average chance of making the Fall line-up. It's a sad day :(

The ground will be a'shakin over on NBC late in the May sweeps. The network will be airing Apocalypse 10.5 over two nights, May 21 and 23 - 9PM - 11PM each evening. The miniseries about the worst earthquake imaginable stars Dean Cain, Carly Pope, Frank Langella, Beau Bridges, and former Blue-sters Kim Delaney and Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon. Kim plays a scientist hired to interpet growing seismic activity while Garcelle is a government agent.

Sharon Lawrence joined Leeza Gibbons and a host of celebrities for the opening of the newest Leeza's Place yesterday in LA. Gibbons founded the nonprofit organization as a a community-based oasis for caregivers and those newly diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Previously, locations opened in Brooklyn, Melbourne, FL, and Joliet, IL. Two locations are opening in Los Angeles this summer as well as a location in Pembroke Pines, FL.

TIME TO GET ON MY SOAP BOX AGAIN....

Did you ever watch the former Showtime series Beggars and Choosers? IMHO, it was one of the best shows on television. It ran for 2 seasons, starting in 1999, and starred Charlotte Ross, Tuc Watkins, William McNamara and Brian Kerwin in a witty, cynical and very true look behind the scenes of a fictional TV network - LGT. Dealing with it's stars, fighting for ratings, trying to come in under budget and maybe even having time for some backstabbing here and there to get a leg up on your career - this show was prime! Charlotte Ross had the role of a lifetime in that of Lori Volpone, VP of Development. She rocked the small screen every week and was the true lead of the series - in my opinion.

Buena Vista Home Video had scheduled the series release on dvd for this past January. At one time Amazon was taking pre-orders but not now. That release was delayed for unknown reasons and has never been rescheduled. I've heard from insiders that the dvd is ready to go with Behind the Scenes commentary and other extras but, still, for some reason BVHV has yet to set a new release date.

Well, I'm tired of waiting. I want my B&C on DVD and I want it NOW! Recently I became aware of a little campaign targeting Buena Vista to revisit that release date and get the much anticipated dvd out on the shelves for all us over anxious fans to get our hot little hands on! if you want to help out, send a post card or drop a nice little letter to Buena Vista at the address below.

Sharon Lawrence joined other Hollywood celebs last night at the Nomadic Museum in Santa Monica for the Ashes and Snow Reception. The event is put on by the Rainforest Action Network which works to protect the Earth's rainforests and support the rights of their inhabitants through education, grassroots organizing, and non-violent direct action.

Travel + Leisure Magazine hosted their own 35th birthday party last night in Los Angeles, one night after their party in NYC, and the celebs turned out for the festive occasion. The party was held at the trendy W Hotel in Westwood and Garcelle joined friends like Natasha Henstridge, Angie Harmon and husband, Jason Sehorn, Tori Spelling, Brooke Burke and BF David David Charvet, and Rachel Bilson. Looks like fun!

According to TVGuide.com's Ask Ausiello, IF, and it gets iffier each passing day, ABC's Commander-In-Chief does return next season, Mark-Paul Gosselaar will not be back. No word on what Dickie's fate may be but Ausiello says we'll see why in the season (or series) finale.

BTW, if you don't check out Ask Ausiello now on tvguide.com, you should be! It's updated every Wednesday with all sorts of fun, witty and VERY informative scoop on TV series. And Ausiello loves several of the former Blue cast - Charlotte Ross for one. So, we know the guy is highly intelligent, right?!

Actor Les Brandt, who guest starred in Blue's season 9 Less is Morte, has signed on as the former madame's first male hooker at her Las Vegas area male stud farm opening next year. Brandt, who has appeared on CSI: Miami as well as Another World, will be the face and body of Heidi's Stud Farm (yep, that's the name!). He'll give up acting to ply his new trade for $250 per hour.
