According to the NY Daily News' Page Six, Kim Delaney has reportedly checked into a California rehab clinic. Delaney entered the Promises rehab center in Malibu last week. She has battled alcohol problems for years. In 2002 she was arrested for drunk driving and in 2003 spent time in an Arizona rehab clinic. Last year she lost custody of her teenage son, Jack, after he told a California court she had put his life in danger by drunk driving.

You remember, the one who had a fatal flaw named Frank Colahan. Anyway, she's turned into quite the poker player of late. She, along with husband French Stewart, have been showing up at lots of the celebrity poker fund raisers - including one for cancer this week in Hollywood. You might not know his name but you'll probably recognize his face. Actor Jack McGee played Desk Sgt. Mahoney on Blue for various episodes of Seasons 8, 9 and 10. Today he took part in the AID Walk in New York. More recently he's been working on Rescue Me as Capt Jerry Reilly. McGee was a former FDNY fireman and has appeared in tons of TV shows and films. They hold a yearly variety show as their main fund raiser and that was last night at the Hollywood Paladium and headlined by k.d. lang. Jimmy Smits won an ALMA Award last night in Los Angeles for his work on The West Wing. The awards are presented by the National Council of La Raza to honor outstanding Latino artistic achievement in television, film, and music and the enhancement of the Latino image in the entertainment industry - - - and Jimmy certainly enhances any image in the entertainment industry or otherwise! This years awards will air on ABC on June 5th.

Except for an appearance at the Santa Barbara Christmas Parade, it's been a long, dry spell since we've seen our fearless leader, Dennis Franz. Last year this time, Dennis, and his wife Joanie, were in Kentucky for the running of the ponies at the Derby. I've looked at the VIP and Celebrity lists for this years event but don't see him listed anywhere - although we may have a Henry Simmons sighting to report over the weekend.

Is anyone missing our Sgt. Sipowicz as much as I am? Come on Dennis, show us some love and go play in a celebrity golf tournament....or better yet. ring up Charlotte Ross and get together with her for a little reunion. We're not asking for much - are we?
