"NYPD Blue" lieutenant James McDaniel joins Taye Diggs, Anthony Mackie, Teagle Bougere and Steven Pasquale in the now-complete cast for the upcoming Charles Fuller's A Soldier’s Play Off-Broadway revival.

Jo Bonney (Living Out, Fat Pig) directs the Second Stage Theatre production slated to start performances Sept. 20 and open Oct. 17 at the midtown Manhattan stage through Nov. 13.

In the 1982 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama set in 1944, a black military lawyer (Diggs) who is sent from Washington to investigate the murder of a black Master Sergeant (McDaniel). In his search, he must overcome uncooperative officers including the victim's white commander (Pasquale) and fearful troops in this tale of deceit and prejudice.

Looks like motorcross enthusiast Mark Paul Gosselaar will will be heading to Seattle next weekend for the Seattle 100 - a motorcycle endurance event, which will take place on Saturday, July 30th, 2005 at Pacific Raceways. The event races money for the Kidney Foundation. Mark Paul will be joined by other celebs and biking junkies including David Alan Grier, who almost co-starred with Esai on Broadway in Mambo Kings.

The event raised funds for the HollyRod Foundation which is dedicated to providing financial, physical and emotional support for patients living with Parkinson's disease and their families/caregivers. The HollyRod Foundation was founded by actress Holly Robinson Peete and her husband, NFL quarterback Rodney Peete.

Sharon will be performing also. Jimmy will be one of the hosts, introducing the acts.
