a BIG honor for Henry Simmons

Henry Simmons received his first acting award on Sunday...and it was a big one! The former Blue star was honored with the Grand Jury Prize for Best Actor award for his role in the indie film, "South of Pico," during the 11th annual American Black Film Festival. The event took place in Los Angeles. The film revolves around the lives of 4 people who witness a fatal car accident involving an eleven year-old girl and how they react by attacking the driver who hit her.

Kudos to Henry!
