Charlotte cast in new pilot!

There's no way she can be the title character but Charlotte Ross has signed on for the new ABC drama pilot Ugly Betty. The pilot is adapted from the Colombian soap 'Betty La Fea' and is executive produced by actress Salma Hayek. Betty stars America (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) Ferrera as brainy but unattractive secretary at a Vogue-style fashion magazine who is hired to stop her boss from sleeping with attractive assistants. No word on Charlotte's character as of yet. The pilot is filming this month on location in New York with, a reported, sizeable budget.
Let's keep our fingers crossed on this one kids!!

I read about this pilot a while ago. I think Charlotte would be great in anything!
My fingers and toes are crossed it gets picked up - and we get to see more than one episode like Jake in Progress!

This sounds interesting. I'm curious what role she will play. Charlotte is excellent in everything she does!
