Who have your favorite cast members been through the years?
Through the years, Blue has been blessed by many talented actors in it's cast. Who have your favorites been during the run of Blue? Who would you like to see more of on this blog? Would love to see more photos of the cast as it changed thru the years. BTW, love the pic you put with this question (from the ABC 50 years celebration). Let it not be lost on anyone that the two Mrs. Sipowicz's are right by Dennis's side in this pic! :-) The irony of that just makes me smile!!! LOL!!!

Favorite Cast Members:
Tie for 1st: Dennis and Charlotte
2nd: Jimmy Smits
3rd: MPG
4th: Henry Simmons
5th: Rick S.
6th: Sharon Lawrence
After that, it's all about equal except for TOG (The Other Guy - Caruso). He is at the very bottom of the list. Had he continued in the role of the tormented John Kelly, I don't think Blue would have lasted nearly as long.
The best thing that EVER happened to the show was that he left. The show became a vehicle for Andy Sipowicz and a showcase for Dennis Franz...and the rest, as they say, is history!!!

My list of favorites would fill this page if I named them all individually. Dennis is my favorite by far, he's DA MAN and there's no denying it. Charlotte Ross wins hands down as my favorite female character. Her portrayal of Connie McDowell revitalized Blue in it's latter years. Jimmy Smits is a close 2nd to Dennis; Sipowicz & Simone were the REAL Dream Team. MPG, Sharon Lawrence, Gordon, Henry, Esai Morales, and James McDaniel all have to be mentioned. As for TOG, he kicked a trash can at Dennis' head because he couldn't handle the fact that Dennis is a better actor and stole the show....'nuff said.

Yes, I did like Kim. In fact I remember Kim from her "All My Children" days and was glad when she joined Blue's cast. Kim & Jimmy were fantastic together. But Charlotte Ross & Sharon Lawrence just rank higher on my favorites list. Charlotte is an amazing actress and I wish she would come out of hiding!

Kim was ok but Charlotte Ross was my favorite female on the series. She ROCKED!! Dennis is my favorite overall. After the 2 of them, Jimmy Smits and Jacqueline Obradors are two of my other favorites. Great question and love this site!

I started watching the show because of Dennis but I must confess a secret crush on Scott Allan Campbell aka Sgt. Jerry Martens. Charlotte Ross is definitely my favorite female character.

My favorites have always been (in order): 1) Jacqueline Obradors, 2) Kim Delaney, 3)Esai Morales
However, I'd also love to see recent photos of the past casts as a whole.
